The Skillful Tree Update 1.1: Pax East!

We're now releasing 1.1 for The Skillful Tree! This release was prepared by our talented developers and designers in preparation for it featuring at the MassDIGI booth at PAX East 2023, and introduces several improvements to the skill tree, title screen and UI!

Changes:

Title Screen:

• Added a new title screen graphic.
  
• Changed title buttons.
• Changed title font and logo.

Additional Screens:

• Added a loading screen.
• Added a win screen.

Game UI:

• Heart icons changed.
• Game font changed.
• UI positioning changes.

Game Elements:

• Player tether sprite changed.
• Tether points sprite changed.
• Sundrop sprite changed.
• End Cloud sprite changed.
• Minor changes to platform sprites.
• Minor changes to background assets.
• Fixes to worm sprite layering.

Skill Tree:

• Added skill tree background.
• Filled in remaining upgrades for skill tree.
• Added text describing powerups to skill tree.

Technical Changes:

Skill Tree:

• Fixed an issue where the Skill Tree allowed the player to pick later tier upgrades before their prerequisites.
• Fixed an issue where upgrades could be selected more than once.
• Fixed an issue where the player could downgrade to a previous upgrade.
